-human o humane?-

-human o humane?-
Nota d'uso
L'aggettivo human significa “umano” nel senso di “relativo all'uomo”: human relationships, relazioni umane; human nature, natura umana; human rights, diritti umani: oppure “umano” come “comprensivo” o “fallibile”: You needn't be afraid of the boss: he's quite human really, non devi avere paura del capo: è abbastanza umano in realtà; I'm sorry – it was a mistake – after all I'm only human, mi dispiace – è stato un errore – sono umano anch'io.
L'aggettivo humane, invece, significa “umano” quando ci si riferisce ad atteggiamenti compassionevoli, che vogliono causare la minor sofferenza possibile a uomini e animali: humane techniques in the treatment of animals, tecniche umane nel trattamento degli animali.
